Proud to be an ONA mentor

I’m very proud to say that I’ve been selected as a mentor for the Student Newsroom and Innovation Lab for the 2018 Online News Association conference. I’ll be working with a staff of 20 students and alongside 19 other mentors to produce content capturing the experience and lessons of this year’s conference.

I’m pleased to see that our students come from a variety of schools and backgrounds.

My esteemed fellow mentors include app developers, reporters and teachers. I look forward to working with each of them, but also to sharing my own unique perspectives — I am the only mentor selected from a local broadcast newsroom.
