Phil Tenser is an award-winning digital content specialist with 16 years of experience, currently employed as the Digital Content Manager at WCVB-TV in Boston.
He has also previously worked for KMGH, KKTV, WSYR and KVOA.
While his desk is located within a television newsroom, Phil is keenly focused on serving comprehensive and creative digital coverage of local news to consumers across websites, apps and social media.
Each day is different, but may include the production of text stories, photos, videos, maps, charts, infographics and timelines. Others focus on long-term strategy, AI integration, beta-testing new tools or team management.
Outside the office, Phil is a husband and father of three very energetic boys.
Throughout his professional career, Phil’s teams have earned awards from the RTDNA, National Headliner Awards Program, Associated Press, Colorado Broadcasters Association and Syracuse Press Club.
