2016 award wins: National Headliner and Edward R. Murrow

This year, I am excited to be able to brag about winning awards with my current team in Boston and my former team in Denver!

WCVB.com was recently awarded the first place prize in the National Headliner Awards. The entry I composed followed the team’s incredible work through a difficult year that involved historic blizzards, high-profile trials and several substantive investigations.

In short, the entry highlighted many of the recent works which motivated me to want to become a part of this team in Boston.
While I did not compose the entry for TheDenverChannel.com, my former employer, that site did win the regional Murrow award for our work. I’m certain the entry focused heavily on our months of work on the Aurora theater shooting trial.
